My real estate career fell into my lap rather by accident. After working in retail management roles for a number of years, where I was a roving area consultant for major supermarket chains setting up new fresh food departments, I answered a job vacancy as a Real Estate receptionist in Carlton, Victoria. At that stage I thought it would be a nice little job, how hard could that be? That is where I got my taste for real estate; it is such an exciting industry to be a part of. After a short time it became obvious I needed more of a challenge, that is when I progressed through Sales Secretary roles, Commercial Real Estate and then to Property Management. So I guess you can say I know my way around a real estate office pretty well!



My daughter told me some 15 years ago that she and her partner were moving to Port Douglas, after numerous visits and the arrival of the first grandchild of course we eventually followed her to beautiful Port Douglas and stayed. It was a bit of a shock at first adjusting to the warmer weather and the laid back lifestyle, but I truly believe Port Douglas is fantastic; we are living in paradise!



Personally I have a thirst for knowledge and possess the need to know factor. I am always searching for bigger and better approaches to my work load and seeking alternate points of view. This is definitely a bonus in the world of real estate as the most part of being a Property Manager is seeking consistently the most efficient way to improve your returns. I provide friendly, personal and informative services on my clients rental investments.
